BENEFITS
The GS10 glass
break sensor works with any X-10 security system. The sensor
is stick on the glass, detects the vibrations of the glass and
listens for the glass breaking high frequency. It sends a
wireless radio frequency signal to the main console when a
glass is broken or hit by a hammer. This dual technology
ensures the glass break sensor is not tricked by other noise.
When the system
is armed, the alarm is tripped when a glass is broken. A slide
switch on the front of the glass break sensor lets you select
the sensitivity.
The sensor
sends a "self-checking" transmission approximately
every 90 minutes. The console will not arm if a glass break
sensor hasn't reported in (can be overdriven by pressing the
console's Accept Button).
